The five-minute Stop Sign and Signal Warrant analysis system.

Four standards-compliant modules in one browser-based platform. Counts arrive from Game|Changer automatically, from a TMC import, or by hand; nine MUTCD warrants, multi-way stop control and HCM delay analysis resolve against them; and the study ends as a Sealed, immutable PDF.

From field device to sealed study, without a single re-keyed number

The warrant math has been settled for decades. What takes the day is everything around it: pulling counts out of one system, reformatting them for another, rebuilding threshold tables by hand. TraffIQ removes that middle entirely for agencies running Game|Changer: install the field device in under 30 minutes, and from then on the counts arrive on their own.

5 minutes instead of an eight-hour day
  • Install Game|Changer in the field in under 30 minutes. Data reaches the cloud every 15 minutes.
  • Game|Changer TMC data auto-syncs with TraffIQ. Nine MUTCD warrants, multi-way stop, AWSC and TWSC delay resolve against real counts.
  • Out comes a defensible study and a sealed report. It’s checksummed and immutable.

No Game|Changer on site? The platform works the same way without it. TMC import and manual entry are first-class paths, and every module behaves identically whichever way the counts arrive. The field pipe is what makes five minutes possible; it is not a requirement for using TraffIQ.

Three ways in. One data model.

However the counts arrive, they carry their provenance with them – collection date, agency and origin system – and that provenance stays attached all the way through to the sealed report.

Automatic
Game|Changer pull

Link your organization to your Game|Changer account once, then pull any date’s counts straight into a study. Data reaches the cloud every 15 minutes.

IMPORT
TMC file

Bring turning-movement counts from any collection vendor. Intervals, coverage and totals are parsed and shown before you run anything.

MANUAL
Direct entry

Type counts in for intersections with no recorded data. Same engines, same evidence tables, same sealed output.

Four analysis modules. Every license. No tiers.

Each module answers a different question about the same intersection, and every one of them is in every seat – including the modules we ship next.

MODULESTANDARDWHAT IT ANSWERS
Signal WarrantsMUTCD 11th Edition (2023)
2009 legacy supported
All nine warrants in one pass. Each returns MET, NOT MET, or REQUIRES JUDGMENT, with the controlling condition and the numbers behind it.
Multi-Way Stop ControlMUTCD 2B.13 to 2B.17The upstream question: is an all-way stop warranted here at all, before anyone buys hardware?
AWSC AnalysisHCM Chapter 21Control delay and level of service at an all-way stop, by lane, by approach, and for the intersection. Is it still doing its job?
TWSC AnalysisHCM Chapter 20Gap-acceptance delay on the minor street at a two-way stop, graded exactly as the standard defines, with intersection-wide delay for comparison.

Every number shows its work

A verdict on its own is not a study. Open any warrant and the reasoning is on screen: conditions evaluated side by side, thresholds printed in the open, every rolling hour listed with its pass or fail, and the qualifying hours highlighted rather than asserted.

  • Condition-by-condition breakdown with the controlling condition named
  • Full hourly table with the MUTCD thresholds shown alongside the counts
  • Data-quality flags raised before the study leaves your desk
  • The MUTCD’s own advisory kept in view: satisfying a warrant does not by itself require a signal
  • A Methodology reference one click away, in every module

The deliverable is a defensible PDF

Warrant studies enter the public record. They get reviewed by agencies, cited in council packets, and pulled in litigation years later. The report TraffIQ produces is built for that life.

  • Warrant-by-warrant results with the hourly evidence tables attached
  • Count provenance carried through: collection date, agency, origin system
  • PE seal block; licensed in more than one state, seal under whichever license applies and the report records its state and number
  • Checksummed and immutable once sealed – nobody edits a sealed study, including you
  • Your organization’s branding, logo and colors, so what lands on the reviewer’s desk is your firm’s work
  • Unsealed output is watermarked UN-SEALED and flattened, so a draft can never be mistaken for a sealed study

Built for a department, not a single workstation

Studies are shared work. TraffIQ separates who prepares, who signs, and who administers – and keeps a record of all three.

Technician

Brings in counts, sets up intersections, runs analyses and drafts reports. Cannot seal.

Engineer

Everything above, plus review, PE seal and final export under a chosen state license.

Admin

User management, seat assignment, billing and organization settings, including report branding.

Less than one billable day – every module included.

One kicked-back study costs weeks of re-review, a missed council meeting, and a records-request scramble two years later. TraffIQ is one license, every module, for less than a single billable day.

$3,500
first year, per seat, one-time initial fee, first year included
$1,000 / year
after that, flat, the price stays put
  • All four modules. Unlimited studies. Every future module included.
  • One license = one seat. Buy multiple seats in one checkout.
  • Public sector: POs accepted. For most agencies, $3,500 fits inside the micro-purchase or P-card threshold. No procurement odyssey.

Your 30-day evaluation starts when you register. No credit card. Evaluation reports carry an UN-SEALED watermark; sealing activates with your license.

The Match-My-Answer Guarantee: Run an intersection you’ve already studied by hand. If TraffIQ doesn’t reach the same verdict against the same MUTCD and HCM math your reviewer uses, we want to hear about it. No credit card, no risk, nothing to install – just proof.

Before you spend a seat on it

We already have a warrant tool. Why change?

Nobody owns the math – the thresholds are published in the MUTCD and the HCM, and the established desktop tools compute them correctly. The question is whether your counts arrive through a pipe or through re-typing, and whether the finished study is sealed and immutable or an editable PDF sitting in a folder.

How do I know the results are right?

Don’t take our word for it. Every engine is validated line-by-line against its source chapter and covered by 128+ automated tests that run on every release, the methodology is on screen inside every module, and the engine is deterministic. The fastest check is to re-run an intersection you have already studied and compare.

Do we need Game|Changer to use TraffIQ?

No. TMC import and manual entry are fully supported and every module behaves identically. Agencies that do run Game|Changer get the automatic path, which is what makes a five-minute study possible.

Can a technician run studies without a PE on hand?

Yes. Technicians prepare data, run analyses and produce drafts; only an engineer role can apply the seal. Drafts are watermarked UN-SEALED and flattened until that happens.

What happens to a sealed report years later?

It stays exactly as it was sealed. The PDF is checksummed and immutable, the underlying study is locked with it, and the full run history and count provenance remain attached, so a file pulled by an auditor or an attorney matches what was stamped.

How does the evaluation work?

Register and create an organization, and a 30-day evaluation starts immediately – every module unlocked, no credit card, no sales call. Evaluation reports carry the UN-SEALED watermark; sealing activates with a license. Once any user in an organization purchases, the evaluation period closes for that organization.

Run a warrant study today, on an intersection you already know.

Register, bring in counts, and compare the verdict against the study you already have.
