We’ve made In|Sync exceptionally easy to deploy, operate and maintain as an advanced traffic management system. Our world-class team of engineers and technical support staff work with you during deployment to maximize In|Sync’s performance and benefits—giving you the most advanced traffic management solution. This timeline shows the 90-day In|Sync deployment process. Please note this is provided only as a guide; there are numerous external factors that can affect the specific dates of a particular deployment.

Deploying In|Sync can be broken down into four steps: hardware installation, systems integration, communication connection and adaptive implementation. Throughout the process of installing your advanced traffic management system we work with you to make sure your deployment is running smoothly. Kickoff In|Sync Project

Order In|Sync with a purchase order or contract. Rhythm Engineering helps you capture your agency's objectives and hosts a kickoff meeting to establish deployment timeline and clarify responsibilities. Day 1

Prepare Corridor & Order Parts

Begin integration readiness checklist: provide corridor data and IP addresses, install communications and power/Ethernet cabling. Also procure test hardware components. Day 15

Establish & Verify Communications

Verify corridor communications are operational, remote VPN access is provided and readiness checklist is completed. Verify corridor communications and remote VPN access 2-3 weeks prior to on-site training. Day 30

Configure Corridor & Ship Equipment

Rhythm Engineers create your corridor's unique adaptive traffic management solution and we ship In|Sync equipment to you 2-3 weeks before on-site training. Day 45

Installation & Training

Technician on-site for three days of classroom and field training on installation, operation and maintenance. In|Sync fully installed on three intersections and detector mode verified. Day 60

Adaptive Turn-On

Complete In|Sync installation and place traffic controllers into free mode to allow In|Sync to place calls. Engineer on-site to perform adaptive turn-on, drive corridor with your agency and make adjustments as needed. Day 60

Monitor Corridor & Complete Project

We monitor corridors for 2-3 weeks and collaborate with your agency on final adjustments to your advanced traffic management system. We host project close meeting to confirm objectives were achieved. Day 75

Ongoing Support

We periodically review the corridor/s to monitor conditions and adjust as needed. We also respond to any inquiries and requests from the deployment partner. Day 90
